License

If your research study involves collecting a CRID identifier, a nominal fee
is requested to support the ongoing development and maintenance of the CRID service.

License Fee

License

To ensure the sustainability of the CRID service and continue delivering high-quality support for your research, we have introduced a nominal licensing fee for research studies and institutions utilizing CRID. This fee will cover access to CRID in your research, online validation of CRID identifiers, and essential IRB documentation. By implementing this fee, we aim to maintain the quality and availability of our services for the research community.

'Project' Definition
For the purposes of the CRID license fee, a 'project' is generally considered to be a distinct research study or initiative that actively utilizes CRID identifiers.

Request an Invoice
Send an email to crid@clirinx.com requesting an invoice. Please include the name of your organization, contact name/email and the name of each research study (and the PI's name) that's actively using CRID. We will follow up with you again in 12 months time to arrange license renewal.

CRID API License

While a basic RESTful API is available, it will require a project to define your specific requirements and to build or customize the API calls for your research study. Once the API is implemented, we will provide ongoing maintenance and support for the duration of your study. After an initial consultation, we can offer a detailed quotation for this work.
